As a child, I fell in love with not just lifting but movement in general. I played sports in school, but I wouldn’t say I was great at them. I just liked to move, and the kind of movement hardly mattered to me. It made me feel powerful and helped me appreciate everything my body could do. When I was 14, I asked my mom to get herself a gym membership so that she could add me to her account Joining a gym changed everything by introducing me to formal resistance training. Looking back now, I was doing so many things wrong, both with my exercise and diet. I have been there and have experienced many of the struggles beginners go through. Fad diets, over-training, the cardio bunny lifestyle, I’ve made every mistake you can think of. My goal is to help others avoid making the same mistakes and help them make more efficient use of their time to maximize their hard work.
