Growing up, my life revolved around playing sports. I would always find myself excited for practice, excited for games, and I enjoyed the 'process' that it took to be successful. I went to a a small highschool in the town of Akron, CO and was able to be a part of many successful athletic teams. This is where my love of the weight room and the 'process' started. I was blessed with a great high school football and strength coach, Brian Christensen, who ignited the flame for me and my career. After high school, I went on to play football at Colorado State University, and here is where I found that the weight room and performance training could really set me apart, and give me the mental edge to compete in Division 1 football. After college football was over, to finish my Health and Exercise Science degree, I went to intern for a semester at the University of Nebraska, and spent my months there in the weight room with the football team, learning and observing. After my internship, I went back to Colorado State and spent three years as a Graduate Assistant Strength Coach, where I also earned my Masters in Education. From Colorado State, I went into the private sector of strength and conditioning and athletic performance, and I have been here ever since! Pursuit is my home, and I hope to be able to show all of you the incredible facility, as well as the passionate and elite level coaching!
