MEET COACH

Micah Maly, PT, DPT

Director of Physical Therapy
My name is Micah and I'm the Director of Physical Therapy, as well as private coach at Pursuit. I've been here for two years and have grown the physical therapy department in my time here. I am also responsible for programming our adult group classes.

Get To Know Coach

I have been a licensed, practicing physical therapist for nine years and have always prioritized strength and conditioning principles in my practice. I specialize in sports rehab, especially ACL rehabilitation and concussion rehab, as well as rehabilitation of the injured strength athlete and active adults pursuing a fit lifestyle. I believe physical therapy and fitness should exist on the same continuum and that fitness is "why" for rehabilitation. My specialty in rehabilitation is helping someone recovering from injury maintain their desired activities as much as possible while simultaneously addressing any limitations or pain that slows them down.

People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.

Purpose & Pursuit

My goal is to see every client that comes through my door, leave with a short-term, and long-term plan to get active, remain active and get back to whatever it is their injury has them missing out on. I strongly believe that the "just rest" mentality has left far too many athletes and active humans stranded and frustrated. I'd like to see healthcare as a whole stop prioritizing "sick care" and symptom-chasing, and instead go to the root of the problem and address lifestyle factors. I'd like to see us at Pursuit Physical Therapy lead the charge in the movement to restore fitness to the forefront of healthcare.
