My relationship with strength and fitness has had its ups and downs. From an early age, I loved sports and competition, trying every sport I could. At 14, I competed in the Junior Olympics for Track & Field. In high school, I was a state champion hurdler, part of two championship relay teams, and a four-time gymnastics state champion. As I got older, a busy life often took precedence over my health. After moving to Colorado in 2012, I decided to make a change and prioritized my fitness and nutrition. Seeing my transformation through strength training has made me passionate about helping others. Age is just a number, and knowing I can positively impact someone’s life through fitness has fueled this new chapter.
In 2022, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The journey through several surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy was challenging, but my dedication to a healthy lifestyle played a crucial role in my recovery. My experience with cancer reinforced my belief in the importance of a healthy lifestyle, especially for those over 40.At 49 years old, I am still a competitive powerlifter, nationally ranked & hold several state records. Despite leading a busy life, I prioritize my health and fitness, embodying the principles I teach to my clients. I’m excited to use all of my knowledge, training, and experience to create training plans uniquely tailored to each client’s goals and abilities. I’m here to help you have fun, try new things, and discover your untapped potential!
