Passionate about fitness and health from an early age, I discovered its true importance in high school. While I participated in various sports during my childhood, it was wrestling that captivated me in middle school. Recognizing my skill in taking opponents down, I developed a deep love for the sport.
In high school, my physical development and relationship with working out and the gym began to flourish. A pivotal moment came when I met the football team chiropractor, who took me under his wing. He offered to teach me how to work out, get stronger, and provided guidance until I could train independently. It was in that moment that I became hooked, not just for sports, but for the addictive joy of building my body.
After high school, my commitment to fitness intensified. Joining the Navy allowed me to pack on 40 lbs of muscle within a few years, transforming my physique and solidifying my dedication to a lifelong pursuit of health and fitness.
In 2003, when I left the Navy, I decided to share my knowledge and passion by becoming a personal trainer. This ultimately led to opening my own franchise location with Fit Body Boot Camp, where I had the privilege of transforming lives and helping others achieve a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Health and fitness have been integral to my life for over 2.5 decades, shaping the person I am today. Embracing this lifestyle brings endless benefits and rewards. It empowers me to face the challenges of life, including marriage, fatherhood, career, faith, and whatever obstacles come my way. Prioritizing my physical well-being is essential to living a purposeful life. In my eyes, abundant health is true wealth, for without it, nothing else truly matters.
